This guide walks you through getting Ledger Live on your computer or mobile device and securely signing in with your Ledger hardware wallet.
Visit the official Ledger start page and choose the download for your operating system: ledger.com/start.
Open the downloaded installer and follow on-screen instructions. On macOS you may need to allow the app in System Preferences → Security & Privacy.
Launch Ledger Live and accept any updates. If Ledger Live prompts to update firmware, only proceed when prompted and verify the prompts on your device.
Attach your Ledger Nano using USB (or Bluetooth for Nano X). Enter your PIN on the device to unlock it. Ledger Live should automatically detect the device.
Use Ledger Live to access the dashboard. For every transaction or sensitive action, confirm details directly on your Ledger device screen before approving.
